Petaling Jaya SS7

SS7 is the sports and recreational hub for PJ and comprises a mix of residential, commercial and recreational uses. The major landmarks are Kelana Jaya Recreational Park, Kelana Seafood Restaurant and the MAS training centre. SS7 is also noted for its lakes formerly mining pools, which have been landscaped and beautified.

Residential elements include a major condominium development, Kelana Putri, on the northern border and link and bungalow housing in the southern section between Kelab Golf Negara Subang and the LDP. A business district is focused on the junction of Jalan SS7/2 and Jalan Subang and this includes the MAS training centre. Facilities in surrounding areas include SM Kelana Jaya school across the LDP in SS4 and other schools in SS5. major factories in SS8 (Matsushita and Motorola) and a business/industrial sector in SS6. There also a Post Office and retail centre in SS6 that includes a Giant supermarket. SS4 and SS5 have a substantial residential presence. SS11 is given over to Kelab Golf Negara Subang. The nearest LRT station is located in SS4 adjacent to the Federal Highway and it operates a park and ride scheme. The LDP ensures good linkage with the Federal Highway, KL and the North/South Highway. Local roads provide speedy connections with all parts of PJ.
