Petaling Jaya SS6

SS6 is a commercial area with substantial community facilities and a small residential component. The major landmarks are the Post Office on the LDP, Kelana Parkview and Giant Supermarket.
Police flats and PKNS flats are situated at the eastern edge of SS6 next to Kompleks Jemaah Haji. Part of the Kompleks Jemaah Haji overlaps into SS5. Syarikat Telecom Malaysia is next to the Post Office, adjacent to the LDP. Businesses located here include Yamaha Music and Glomac. A new commercial development Kelana Parkview is located on the eastern edge of the LDP and Giant Supermarket on Jalan SS6/3 is the focus for shoplot developments. A market, Pasar Tani, is held in SS6 every Saturday morning. East is SS5, a residential sector with numerous parks and schools, including a Japanese school. Wisma FAM is also located here. North is SS4, a large residential area with schools and parks. One school, SM Kelana Jaya is located across Jalan Bahagia. To the west and south is SS7 and the recreational facilities at Kelana Jaya. These include tennis courts, a swimming pool, Kelana Jaya Recreational park, FAS football field, where you can have a close look at the Selangor state footballers train, Kelana Medical Centre and Kelana Seafood Restaurant. Adjacent to these areas there is a small business area including the MAS Training Centre.
SS6 is adjacent to the LDP which ensures good linkage with the Federal highway and Kl and the North/South Highway. Local roads provide speedy connections with all parts of PJ.
