Petaling Jaya SS4

SS4 is a large residential sector in PJ. There are a total of 1675 houses of which 1400 are terraced housing types. There are a number of pocket parks and a pasar malam is held every Wednesday at Jalan SS4C/5. A surau is located at the southeast of SS4 and a small commercial parade is located on the northwest edge, adjacent to the LRT line.

Facilities in adjoining areas include schools (SS2, SS5), churches (SS25) and a surau (SS3). A small commercial strip in SS2 adjoins the northeast edge of SS4 and across the LDP in Taman Mayang Plaza, which includes Lim Kok Wing College. SS2 commercial centre is a short drive away and 1-Utama shopping mall can be easily accessed via the LDP. Across the LDP to the west are the Kelana Jaya recreational facilities. These include tennis courts, swimming pool, a large park and the famous Kelana Jaya Seafood Restaurant. Easily accessed to the east is Taman Aman park. Located south is SS6 where there are commercial and retail developments including a post office, a Giant Supermarket outlet and a business/industrial presence including Glomac Business Centre and Yamaha Music School. Kelana Jaya LRT station is located on the northern edge along the LDP. SS4 is directly linked to the LDP and the major thoroughfares ensure speedy connections with the Federal Highway and all parts of PJ, Kuala Lumpur, Subang and Klang. The North/South Highway is a short drive away via SS25 or the LDP.
