Petaling Jaya SS23

SS 23, also known as Taman SEA Baru is a residential and commercial area, predominantly made up of 391 link houses set in a leafy and quiet environment. SS23 has four neighbourhood parks while commercial development is recent and centres on the southwest corner with frontage alongside the LDP.

Neighbouring areas are a similar combination of residential and commercial activities. Schools can be found in neighbouring SS2, SS22, SS22A and nearby SS4. Kolej Damansara Utama is located in SS22. There is a mosque in the southwest of SS2 and suraus in SS3 and SS4. Churches are located in SS2, SS24 and SS25. A Hindu cemetery is in SS22. There is a large commercial centre across the LDP in SS2 and this includes a sizeable hawker stall centre. Pasar Malams are held in SS2 on Monday and Thursday and in SS24 on Sunday. Atria Shopping Centre in sited in SS22 and via the LDP and Jalan SS23/23 there is excellent access to 1-Utama Shopping Mall and Damansara Uptown commercial and entertainment centre. Taman Bahagia LRT is located nearby and a feeder bus service runs along the LDP. SS23 has immediate access to the LDP, which ensures quick and convenient movement to Bandar Utama, to Bangsar, Damansara and KL. There is good access to the Federal Highway and easy links to all parts of PJ using the LDP and other thoroughfares. There is also good access to the North/South Highway via Jalan SS23/23 or the LDP.
