Petaling Jaya SS22

SS22, commonly known as Damansara Jaya, and SS22A are a mix of residential and commercial uses. There are 1538 units of link houses, 165 semi-detached housing units and 42 bungalows all set in a quiet and leafy environment. Commercial development focuses on Atria shopping mall where there is a wide range of retail outlets, entertainment, restaurants and business activities. There is a small commercial strip along Jalan SS22/11 including restaurants and motor repair shops. There is one Neighbourhood Park and four schools in SS22 and SS22A. Kolej Damansara Utama is located along the LDP as is a Hindu cemetery.

Neighbouring developments are a similar mix of residential and commercial uses. Schools are found in SS2 and SS21. There is a mosque is the southwest corner of SS2 and in SS21. Churches can be found in SS24. There is a large commercial centre across the LDP in SS2 and this includes a sizeable hawker stall centre. Pasar Malams are held in SS2 on Monday and Thursday and in SS24 on Sunday. There is excellent access to 1-Utama shopping mall and Damansara Uptown commercial and entertainment centre via the LDP or Jalan 23/23. Taman Bahagia LRT is located at the southern end of SS2 from which a feeder bus service operates to SS22. SS22 has immediate access to the LDP, which ensures quick and convenient movement to the Bandar Utama, Bangsar, Damansara and to KL. There is good access to the Federal Highway and easy links to all parts of PJ using the LDP and other thoroughfares. There is also good access to the North/South Highway via Jalan SS22/43 and SS21/64 or the LDP.
