Petaling Jaya SS21

SS21, also known as Damansara Utama, contains a mix of commercial and residential uses. Residential units comprise link housing. There is a substantial commercial and entertainment district, Damansara Uptown, which fronts the LDP and Jalan Damansara and has excellent access to the North/South Highway. SS21 is well known as having the best and most varied range of entertainment and food outlets in PJ. Varities include Chinese, Northern Indian, fast food, Italian, Thai and Mamak. One of the two securities firms in PJ is located here. A central park located next to the Fajar Supermarket on Jalan SS21/37 and it is famous for the office people who enjoy their lunch there. A mosque is centrally located in SS21 and there is a school in the northeast corner.

Areas adjoining SS21 contain a similar mix of residential and commercial uses. Schools are found in SS2, SS20 and SS22 and 22A and Kolej Damansara Utama is in SS22. There is a mosque is the southwest corner of SS2 and in SS21. Churches can be found in SS24. SS22 contains a Hindu cemetery. There is a large commercial centre in SS2 and this includes a sizeable hawker stall centre. Pasar Malams are held in SS2 on Monday and Thursday and in SS24 on Sunday. There is excellent access to the nearby 1-Utama shopping mall via the LDP. Taman Bahagia LRT is located at the southern end of SS2 and a feeder bus runs along the LDP and through Damansara Uptown. SS21 has immediate access to the LDP, which ensures quick and convenient movement to the Bandar Utama, Bangsar, Damansara and to KL. There is good access to the Federal Highway and easy links to all parts of PJ using the LDP and other thoroughfares. A short distance away is the North/South Highway accessed via Jalan Damansara and Jalan SS21/64.
