Petaling Jaya Section 9

One of the smallest sections in PJ, Section 9 contains 124 well maintained bungalow units. Section 9 is the location for SM(P) Assunta.

Abutting Section 9 is 'The State', a sizeable commercial district with many restaurant and entertainment outlets. Other amenities in neighbouring areas include schools (Sections 5, 10 and 52), colleges (Section 52), temples and churches (Sections 5, 6,and 10) and a mosque is located nearby in Section 3. Two shopping malls, AsiaJaya and Amcorp Mall, are located in adjoining Section 52. Section 52 is also contains many MPPJ municipal buildings and the Astaka Sports Centre. Three hotels are in Section 52: the Hilton Hotel, Crystal Crown Hotel and Shah Motel and Bowling. Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital and the Selangor Children's Spastic Centre are in Section 52. Immediately north in Section 10 is Taman Jaya, a landscaped park and closeby, in Section 5, is Bukit Gasing, one of the few remaining areas of secondary forest in PJ with superb views over KL and Klang Valley. Section 9 is very close to the Federal Highway and major thoroughfares ensure speedy access to all parts of PJ. There is close proximity to Taman Jaya LRT station in Section 52
