Petaling Jaya Section 3

Section 3 forms part of the original development in PJ. Section 3 provides the main public facilities in the original Old township. The area is primarily residential with supporting commercial and community facilities. Housing stock is made up of landed bungalows dating back to original development. The north west corner of Section 3 is adjacent to Assunta Hospital and the southwest corner is adjacent to a Wet Market at the junction of Jalan Othman and Jalan Selangor. Schools are located in Section 1 and Section 2 and temples and churches in Section 4. A mosque and a Majestic Tower can be found in Section 3. There is easy access to the nearby Section 52, a major industrial and business centre of PJ. A short distance to the east lies Bukit Gasing, one of the few remaining areas of secondary forest in PJ with superb views over KL and Klang Valley. There are quick direct links with the Federal Highway and all parts of PJ, Kuala Lumpur, Subang and Klang.
