Petaling Jaya Section 22

Section 22 is a secluded residential area focused on Taman Aman Park. Housing stock consists of well set bungalows and terraced housing all with good access to Taman Aman Park. Beyond the southern end of Section 22 across Jalan Baiduri there are Muslim, Christian and Buddhist cemeteries.

Section 22 borders the residential Sections 20 and 21 and SS1. Residential Section 14 lies east and contains the well known Jaya Supermarket and Metro Jaya shopping area. SMP Sri Aman lies immediately east and other schools are located in SS1, SS2 and SS3. A mosque is located close to the Muslim cemetery in Section 51A and other mosques and suraus can be found in Section 14, SS1, SS2 and SS3. Churches are situated in SS2 and Section 52. There are Post Offices in Section 14, Section 20 and SS1. To the south and southeast along Jalan Baiduri is Section 51A, a prime business and industrial business district in Petaling Jaya. A short drive to the northeast is Section 13, the prime corporate address in Petaling Jaya. Both these areas are home to major national and multi-national businesses such as Cycle and Carriage, Colgate and Philips. On Sunday there is a Pasar Malam close by in Section 21. There is good access to the Federal Highway and the North/South Highway and Section 22 is well connected to all parts of PJ via Jalan Baiduri and Jalan 14/47.
