Petaling Jaya Section 21

Section 21 is very Chinese in character and consists of mainly terraced housing with an apartment complex and well set bungalows. The major landmark of the area is the old Ruby cinema, now unused. The Labour Office is found here. There is a shoplot commercial area with hawker stalls, a number of famous Chinese restaurants and a wet market. Neighbouring areas are predominantly residential with supporting commercial activities. There is a large commercial centre in SS2 and Pasar Malams are held in SS2 on Sunday and Thursday and in Section 20 on Sunday. Schools are located in SS2, SS1 and Section 14. Religious facilities can be found in SS1 (mosque), SS2 (mosque) and SS24 (churches). There is a Post Office close by in Section 20 and scenic Taman Aman Park is situated south along the southern border. Taman Paramount LRT is immediately south of Section 21 and a feeder bus service for the LRT runs through Section 21. Using Jalan 21/1 and Jalan 21/34 there are good links with all parts of PJ.
