Petaling Jaya Section 16

Located alongside the Damansara SPRINT Highway, Section 16 is one of the strategic gateways to PJ. The major landmarks in the area are Philleo Damansara, CP Tower, Eastin Hotel and Universiti Islam Antarabangsa. The clock tower at the centre of the Abu Bakar Roundabout is also visible to motorists approaching from Kuala Lumpur.

Housing elements are uniformly large well-set and attractive bungalow types and the undulating topography ensures there are spectacular views of Universiti Malaya and neighbouring Damansara Heights. Complementing the bungalows there are exclusive condominiums set along the western boundary with Section 17. In adjoining sectors there are schools (Section 17, Section 17A), mosques and temples (Section 16) and Universiti Hospital is a short distance away. A small part of the Universiti Malaya campus is located in Section 16 while the remainder lies across Jalan Dato Abu Bakar. To the south is Section 13, the dominant business and corporate address in PJ and home to many prestigious Malaysian and foreign businesses such as Colgate Palmolive, Dutch Baby Milk, Aluminum Company of Malaysia and Philips. There is immediate access to the Manasara SPRINT Highway establishing good linkage to other sections of PJ, Damansara, Bandar Utama, Kuala Lumpur, the Federal Highway and 1-Utama. All parts of PJ can be easily accessed via Jalan Universiti.
