Petaling Jaya Section 12

Section 12 is given over to residential development with 515 bungalow units, 122 terrace units and the Ehsan Ria Condominium along the Jalan Bukit. To the north lies Section 13, which is the predominant business and corporate address in PJ and home to many prestigious Malaysian and foreign businesses such as Colgate Palmolive, Dutch Baby Milk, Aluminum Company of Malaysia and Philips. Southwest of Section 12 is Section 52 which contains retail shopping malls, schools, a church and important MPPJ municipal buildings. The Hilton, Crystal Crown and Armada hotels are also located in Section 52. Other facilities in Section 52 include Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital, Filem Negara and Selangor Children's Spastic Centre. The residential area of Section 11 lies east as does Universiti Hospital and to the north is the Universiti Malaya campus.

Section 14 is close by and possesses well known retail centers, Jaya Shopping Centre and MetroJaya as well as a market. Tun Abdul Aziz mosque is also here and Asia Jaya LRT station is located near to the southwest corner of Section 12 off Jalan Utara. Taman Jaya Park is a short distance away across the Federal Highway in Section 10 and it is close to Taman Jaya LRT station. East of Section16, across Jalan Universiti is Universiti Malaya and Universiti Hospital lies immediately southeast of the area. A number of supporting medical facilities can be found in Section 11, directly south of Section 16. There is quick access to the Federal Highway and major thoroughfares ensure speedy access to all parts of PJ and Kuala Lumpur and via the Damansara SPRINT Highway to 1-Utama shopping mall, Bangsar and Damansara.
