Petaling Jaya Section 11

Section 11 is a residential area with supporting commercial facilities. The major landmark is the Universiti Tower, located on Jalan Universiti. Other landmarks include Telekom Exchange situated at the junction of Jalan Universiti and the Federal Highway. Housing stock is made up of 310 bungalows and 58 other types. Facilities in neighbouring areas include schools (Sections 10, 12 and 52), temples and churches (Sections 10 and 52). The nearest mosque is located across Jalan Universiti in Universiti Malaya. Taman Jaya Park lies across the Federal Highway in Section 10 while Universiti Hospital is located across Jalan Universiti. Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital is in Section 52. Other important buildings in Section 52 include Amcorp and Armada Shopping Malls, the Crystal Crown, Hilton and Armada hotels and various MPPJ municipal buildings. There is excellent access to the Federal Highway, which runs along the southern border and the major thoroughfares ensure speedy access to all parts of PJ. There is good access to Taman Jaya LRT located across from Taman Jaya Park in Section 52.
