1. www.mph.com.my
Their books are competitively priced but their range and stck level is not so good.
2. www.acmamall.com
Books slightly more expensive then mph.com but good range of titles and most books usually in stock.
3. www.amazon.como
Phenomenal range of titles and almost all books in stock. Price of books is competitive and some can be even cheaper then mph and/or acmamall but the postage costs will kill you.
4. www.mobile88.com
Prepaid reloads available here.
5. www.lelong.com
Scrutinise seller's profile and make sure the track record is good. Take note of other buyer's comments and grouses b4 plonking your money down.
6. www.21stcentury.com.my
I get my vitamins and supplements from here. Min order of RM$50 entiltles you to free delivery in PJ (maybe KL also, just check with them). Reputable company. You are automatically given a discount when you order online and they even once surprised me with a free gift(free bottle of vapor rub)! Recommended.
7.If I think of somemore I will edit my post for inclusion. Laughing

etc etc......

If you buy from reputable companies and websites like Amazon.com, Microsoft.com, Dell.com, mph.com.my etc you should be 100% safe. Dont buy from sites you are unsure of.

Hi guys,

thanks friedice for your detailed info. I checked out www.acmamall.com. Not bad, lots of books and even has chocolates and flowers.

Gives you free shipping for RM200 and above, but RM7.50 charge flat rate for anything below RM200. Was scared that they cheat me so I bought only 1 book for RM50. Quite fast. got my book very nice and wrapped up in plastic in 10 days.

think i will go and buy now from Acmamall. They say they are a malaysian-singapore owned company and has lots of security features. Anyhow, I used my maybank2u.com internet banking instead. safer that way.

Go check it out at www.acmamall.com

I have been shopping at their place for maybe 2-3 years now when their website was called acmabooks.com. They only changed it to acmamall recently. Had no problems using credit card at their place. The last time I was there I registered for priority membership(its free) which entitles you to a further 10-15% discount. I cant quite remember exactly how many % discount. Smile

There was 1 time when mph.com didnt carry stock of the book I ordered and they had charged my card. Subsequently I was given a refund.
Its actually quite safe shopping at reputable websites. Smile

For vcd, music cd, dvd, this place seems good:

although I havent bought anything from them yet.

Smile

While I was in the US, I did quite alot of shopping online but ever since I came back, I rarely buy anything online. I believe that the convenience of driving around in Malaysia helped me in that. Although I have to say online shopping makes things a whole lot easier but it can make you lazy and it's actually quite addictive if you're not careful. Just my 2 cents.
