I think the 3G subcription is very expensive and not worth it at the moment. You need to have a 3G phone otherwise you need to buy a 3G card which would cost you about RM800+ (I think, i saw it at low yat, ground floor)
I don't think you will use it while you are travelling. I don't think you will bring your laptop together with you when you are travelling, unless you are a businessman. Also, please consider if the laptop is constantly expose under the shaky environment, the harddisk will "gong" very fast. All the data lost....
Pls pls pls, take all these into consideration, simply because the technology has not there yet....
