I am a married IT professional, whose outstation posting is ending this November 2007. I will need a room in PJ starting Dec '07, and wife will join me in PJ most likely after CNY '08. We are both MYOB, quiet, easygoing friendly types, who don't do much cooking (only maggi mee, milo, etc) and will either be out of the house, or in our room. We are both also part-time students.

We are seeking an understanding, problem-free & honest landlord/chief-tenant, and a room preferably with a bathroom attached BUT will consider alternatives. An empty room with no furniture is fine, as we have our own. Areas with nearby bus-stops/LRT for wife to go to work are highly regarded. We are considering areas near SS2/SEAPark, Paramount, DU/DJ, Sect 14,19,17, PJ State, KJ, etc.

Because we have been married for some time, we have some appliances we will be shipping back. To ease in calculation for monthly utilities, a simple list is as follows: -

ARRIVING IN Dec'07
- 1 computer only

ARRIVING IN Feb/Mar'08
- 1 computer
- 1 TV, used only at night and weekends. (Will install Astro in room at our own cost)
- 1 aircon, used only at night and weekends. ((Might not ship back if room is cool enough))
- 1 microwave oven, rarely used -- makan & supper outside. (If provided, we won't ship back)
- 1 water heater. (If provided, we won't ship back)
- MOST LIKELY, 1 washing machine, used once a week. Due to hygiene concerns (wife is particular Smile ), unable to share (so an attached bath would be just nice).

*Rather have a fixed rental that includes utilities rather than a monthly rental+utils that goes up and down.

Also, since I am in the IT-line, I will be installing (at my own cost) a dedicated phone and Streamyyx line for me to do my work from home -- sharing might cause problems for other users. Hope this is not a problem.

We will be arriving in PJ on 23-11-2007 for a few days, and would hope to be able to meet up to view the room and pay the deposit if agreeable. So if you have a room available (or know of someone who does), I would appreciate it if you can contact me via PM, and discuss further. Please provide estimated rent rate, and pictures in email would be a great help.

Thanks and regards.
