Anyone can share their experience in using Jaring broadband. I am tempted to sign up just as an alternative to the poor streamyx. But the only thing that stop me is their 24 months contract. Isn't that too long?

So anyone having any good experience with the Jaring broadband?

Ok, let me help you on this.
I actually a networking company owner. I did use Jaring wireless broadband for some of my project.
I need to first tell you regarding wireless, Wireless mean no wire la of cause, but you need to know that the connection is depends on the enviroment. That mean bandwidth is depends on weather. If the weather good, you can get a best connection type, but when weather is bad, so of cause it is worst than streamyx. Is up to you whether you want to get it or not.

There is not much difference between Jaring and TMNET streamyx, and if you're gamer, stay away from Jaring.

Tester, wireless is a not that stable cause any things will effect the connection. But if you don't have choice, then what you can do is just use it. Razz

If you are a student or thinking of budget, streamyx will be great. If you are a gamer, please choose streamyx.

On the other hand, if you hand a notebook and you want to get your notebook online somewhere else, wireless is good. Like 3G. But I don't think Jaring would work in that way.

For me, I would choose Streamyx. I am not a businessman and not travelling. If I am going out to town, I would rather goto play and to see new things. Stay home and do your work and it is quiet. If you would to go out and looking for internet, starbuck is a good place. Moreover, if you would like to share internet with your neighbour to cut half of your monthly fee, buying a router and plug your streamyx modem to the router. Bear in mind, Jaring doesnt allow you to do so.
