What is reason for classifying the companies into various industires in the Stock market of Malaysia?
i am not sure...but is it to help compare different stocks within a category especially as some industries may be performing better at certain times.. such as construction doing well when the economy is doing well which will also create a demand in related industries like equipment and materials.
