No T&C. Its like prepaid. For $20 you get x hours. You use up x hours you will have to top $20 again. NOT WORTH IT! If you use up x hours every 5 days then in a month it will cost you $120!
Better go for the unlimited 24/7 512kB package of $66/mth (I think its $77 incl of modem) or the $88/mth 1 Mb package.
Refer to pjnet user iem1332's postings in Classified Ads for the pricing & promotions. |

RM20 per mth always got this package one just seldom ppl got it only...
and its not worth it.. better get RM44 for 60hours, 60sen per hour for the extra. if u seldom online get this package. _________________

Sorry to dissapoint u all.... Streamyx is way behind the world already...
Today we all still talk about 384k/584k/1MB line..... while the whole is talking about 100MB and above already for broadband speend to 1GB.....
read the link below...
http://www.pjnet.com.my/ftopict-8524.html
And I have am now using 6MB line in Singapore. No more sorry state of slowness.... 6MB is the minimum line for almost everyone at home. still got 1MB line but 1MB line can get free when u subscript to cable TV with certain decoder model. |

actually its not waste of money. The price of the broadband in singapore has not increase at all. Its the speed that increase. I pay $59.95 for the 6MB line. I was 2.5MB initially... but free upgrade to 6mb.
Those that sign up for 25MB package at $93.00, it was free upgrade to 100MB. 160MB speed free upgrade is coming soon around year 2008.
So basically my line will be free upgrade to 12MB or more during that time.
As technology advance, the price remain the same. So you get more speed for more value.
ADSL line in singapore for 6MB is also less than $60,00. Last time was 1MB or 2MB line at that price. But now same price at higher speed.
So imaging that Streamyx really follow the world standard, Malaysia would be using 6MB line at RM70 packages and not stuck in the 512/1MB stage. |

One of the reason cybercjaya doesn't able to attract many MNC as their regional HQ because Malaysia doesn't able to meet the demand of the IT infrastructure.
The next best infrastructure available in this region is Singapore. If Malaysia wanted to be the regional HQ for MNC, the IT infrastructure must be improve.
MNC doesn't care much about pricing as transmission of data is crucial in their business as it involves multi-milliion dollars or billions of dollars.
They need the capacity. And if Cyberjaya not able to offer the capacity, then they will look for any other countries that can offer. |
