My ICQ no is 6 digits(I dont think you can beat that Very Happy ) and I had to install MSN as well cos none of my previous contacts are using ICQ anymore. I think it all boils down to hype and somehow when ICQ was napping Microsoft stole a march on them with MSN. However I find nothing that MSN can do that ICQ cant. MSN is about as far as I will compromise and I will not subject myself further to the whimsical dictates of trends like friendster.

Young ppl favour form over substance, so even if we are 'out' or not so up-to-date I think its ok as long as we have substance. Form is unimportant.

Smile

i've been called obsolete before i left home for uni.
now that im in uni, ppl still brand me obsolete. wat to do?

mirc, icq, msn, yahoo, friendster, now skype.

but one word of wisdom: keep yourselves updated.
tech is always fast paced and geared towards improvement.

i read sth interesting from my dusty textbook:

"....the learner keeps learning, the learned will stay exactly where they are"

the lil extra mileage comes in handy. i've experienced that personally, scared to bits at first, but now thrilled and looking foward. Smile
