I would like to share the 3 experience I have with Oriental Pavillion at Jaya 33.
My first time there was during this year CNY Reunion dinner. The waitress was so rude.. there kept rushing us to finish our food buy serving us everything within 10 minutes... Hallo, we ordered a 6 course dinner, how to finish everything in 10 minutes?
By the time we finish the soup (which was the 2nd dish), all other dishs was already served on our table.
I really hate it because by the time I was eating my fish, the fish was already cold.. like dead fish from the sea ( yat pat yeah already)
Second visit - on my friend's wedding. Very rude also... throwing dishes at us when they were changing our plates. And also, rushing us to finish our food quickly by stuffing our tables with food under 1 hour.
Third visit - my worst so far in my life. We booked a table to host some friends from France. Buat malu ourselves only.... NEVER bring your friends over to Oriental Pavillion. The hostess to brought us to our table insulted us for being 10 minutes late, and the most lawak thing happened after she insulted us, the table was not set. No cutleries, no tea cup, no nothing, only a white table cloth.
Then we ordered a tea, it took 20 minutes. We practically had to fight with everyone else for a simple dimsum dish. The floor was dirty with food left over. Managers was laughing behind the counter when it was such a mess in the restaurant. They cannot be bothered.. when you put up your hand to call someone, they all look away, pretending not to see you.
Talk about image and hygiene in a restaurant. Never bring your friends there unless you want them to think you are really low class.
