-Performs operations and troubleshooting requiring deep level of expertise in corresponding technical areas.
-Charter for ITSM activities includes Configuration Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Operation Management and Release to production.
-Request for Change (RFC) initiator, planner, and implementer
-Demonstrate leadership and provide technical expertise on task performance to those with less experience.
-Define and ensure adherence of ITSM processes, deploy tools to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of ISMC services.
Overall technical ownership for including:
Incident, Security, Change and Problem Management
Ownership of the account related technical documentation
-Technical consulting
-Communicate to operations staff/customer any planned or unplanned disruption of business.
-Prepare and review system performance and availability reports on servers, monitoring key process indicators such as uptime, event triggers, daily backup success rate, taking action when there is deviation from acceptable targets.
-Focus on total cost of ownership through productivity enhancements, server consolidations and other continuous quality improvement project.
-Plan and execute proactive maintenance on servers through effective capacity planning and change management. Be able to perform effective impact analysis and promote change communication using change management tool.
-Involve in Technical Escalation Management
-Project planning and implementation
-Documentation and reporting

Qualifications

-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent and MCSE, MCP or ITIL certification would be advantageous.

-Minimum 4-5 years of system administration in enterprise experience with a total experience of about 6-7 years.

-Strong Knowledge and demonstrated experience on resolving Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Platform issues.

-Enterprise Level knowledge and experience in OS management, Active Directory, DNS, WINS and DHCP.

-Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skill in MS-Clustering and Server Virtualization eg: VMWare

-Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in SAN, Server hardware, and Blade server.

-Experienced in programming / scripting like VBScript, WMI, command prompt on Windows 2000/2003 is advantageous.

-Excellent experience in troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting Windows 2000/3 in the enterprise environment.

-Enterprise Level Security patch management – Working knowledge of technical patching.

-Good knowledge and demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Resource Kit

-Must possess a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written

-Have good customer handling skills, initiative and team player.
A good team player with good ethic and a highly motivated individual who can work under pressure while adhering to service development and quality management procedures.

-Good problem solving skills, high level of initiative and extremely motivated.

-Demonstrates keen interest in continuous learning and professional development.

-Ability to multi-task and prioritize among a number of process and problems.

-Willing to work on 24x7 Standby.

shannie... look like one leg kick.... thank god i came out from the role above..i used to do the work stated above... but now me more on project management role already.... Smile
