There is no such thing as easy money in that you just "invest" and sit still and then get a big lump years later. There are always the small prints and fine prints and conditions etc etc

Sunshine Empire is under investigation and lots of people got into trouble. There will be many that will not be able to fulfill their promises. Onus is on you "let the buyer beware" basically. Their scheme is to keep on recruiting and keep the ball moving, and once the ball slows down, they will not be able to keep the cheques moving out to you and that is what is happening.

The Easy Pharma scheme is making a lot of promises which they have to cater to in 2-5 years time, and so are many many other schemes.

To play safe, do your homework. I suggest you go to google etc and type in the companies name, the words "scam" "complaints" etc and take a good look before you put your money in.

If you are in a MLM to consume the goods, then it is ok, but if you are there to make the money; you really have to persever very hard and only then you will make it. Same MLM company I have seen people make a lot of $ and seen many who did not make it and then complain they were cheated.

yup..i agree...100% so this STG project is to gather investor for his STG cafe's and it is like bank wer u put ur FD's and get return after 2 to 3 years...at the mean time ur money will be invested for other loan like car/hse to get higher return so that the bank earn from that and can pay u back they promised you..in STG we gather investor $$ and start the 1st STG and wer the return are from the profit of STG's business...so we get our share then...their current 3 outlet turn over around 600k/restaurant... you can calculate it since they hv 3 outlet...with this project, e=expectedly 30 will be the terget in klang valley not included the current 3 outlets. Latest info i get from a friend in Taiwan..there is a Steven Corner in Taiwan too...

Easy money is really a misconception. Let me explain. Yes, there is easy money to be made, but not in the way that many company presented it - put in your $ and get so much and so much back after 36 months etc etc. Sunshine Empire is a typical example. When they presented their opportunity plan, did you go into depth into what they claim ? Or did you just fall into their "hype" ? There are many companies who are pushing their products via MLM and there is nothing wrong with that. MLM is just another name for a marketing system. MLM is not pyramid selling - do not confuse the two of them.

People see easy money as a no work sort of returns. If you are savvy and well connected, well, the stock market is easy money. Properties can also be easy money. It is easy money to those who made the choice investment, be it stock market or properties - to the on-looker, it is easy money, but to the person who made it, do you think it is really easy money ? Consider the time spent in research, risk calculation etc etc - all these are what we call the "metaphysics of business" - experience, knowledge and skills. These you have to learn, either the hard way or the smart way.

Just ask yourself some simple questions before you hop aboard any company or investment (MLM or otherwise).

1. Is it just a recruitment or do they have products to sell ?
2. If I cannot sell even a single one, can I consume all of what I have invested in ? Preferably not more than within 3 months.
3. Is it a product or a service ?
4. What if I cannot recruit a single person ?
5. If it is a technical product, are there scientific research done on it ? Check that yourself from the internet and do not rely on what the company gives you.
6. How much is the monthly maintenance ? (If any)
7. How established is the company ? How long in Malaysia or SE Asia ? If they are new, do you think the market has a place for them ?
8. Check their directors, even overseas directors etc etc

And the questions go on. I have nothing against MLMs and I personally think that the future marketing systems will utilise the MLM concepts to a greater degree. I have visited about 6 or 7 MLMs in Malaysia and a few of them I think would like to hire some ninjas to knock me off as I asked some questions they felt so very reluctant to address.

Of course some are good but most of them I really think 20 times !!

I have not really heard about this STG investment scheme, but just by reading what was posted, it seems that they take investors $ and expand the business and after a certain period, the investors are paid back their capital and profits. Is that so ?

Well, fair enough, IF everything goes well. What sort of returns do you expect to get ? What happens if the figures do not materialised as planned ? Worse still, what happens if the business fails to take off and they needed more $ and then they may have to turn to you for additional $ and if you cannot cough it out, what happens ?

Even McDonalds or KFC cannot give you solid guranttees.

it is so called
'prefered share' purchase. yup return is 120% on investment in 2 years time. then another 80% will the following year according to 20% Company Turn Over. Well i hope they can do it...
