Hi!
I am running a donation campaign in aid of this 18 year old boy and his other 5 siblings who were abandoned by their parents as highlighted in The Star on 20th April under the headlines "Abandoned Siblings Need Help".

The children had to fend for themselves ever since their parents left.They are depending solely on the welfare of kind hearted souls to meet their daily needs.
I urged those of you who have the capacity to give, to generously donate towards the welfare of these children.I will personally be collecting foodstuff as well as donations to be presented to them next month.Anyone who is interested to help out can PM.

what happen if let's say i donate to them, but at the end of the story when they grow up, they become animal killer/abuser? or environment killer/abuser?
sometimes i feel that i'm indirectly helping the human. but where's the awareness for animals or our earth?? |

yes.that's absolutely right.you can post the cheque directly to the address stated.
as for those of you who would like to donate any foodstuff but have no time to hand it over to them personally,you can PM me.I am going to coordinate all the donations to hand it over to them.

hi allan,
with due respect to you,i am absolutely clueless as to what you mean by "them " becoming animal killer/abuser?
do you mean those abandoned children or was it someone else instead?
err..are you sure you are on the right thread? 
anyway,if you are talking about helping animals,there are always avenue to help animals such as SPCA which is doing an absolutely great job to rescue street animals.perhaps you may want to consider that?

Can you please confirm if the FULL NAME of the 18 year old is TOO CHEE HOW or is it TOH CHEE HOW as reported in the Star paper.

I confirmed it is TOO CHEE HOW and NOT TOH CHEE HOW as stated in the news report as I got this information directly from the MCA deputy chairman's personal assistant,Teo Eng Kian.
I will PM you his IC number as well just in case,so you can jot down his IC number at the back of the cheque.

err..are you sure you are on the right thread?
I've seen kids , orphaned kids grew up become a rich businessman , but at the end of the story they destroy earth for their own profits.
I've even seen orphaned kids grew up and become illegal endangered animal trader.
So if we are meant to help this humans but at the end of the story they destroy other life beings and our home earth, isn't that mean we are helping ourself with future destructions?
Sorry. just asking.

Perhaps it's a bit harsh to assume that all orphaned children will end up destroying mother earth.It is unfortunate that you have across those who ended up on the wrong side of law or rather moral conscience.But to generalise and say all orphan children will be like that will be a bit unfair.
Perhaps you should pay these children a visit to find out for yourselves before making such a harsh judgment.And hopefully your life and your views will change,with time.

oh don't worry, i haven't actually given my end judgement to these poor orphaned. i helped alot in donations eg:- orphaned, cancer(makna), old ppl, and alot more i couldn't even think of it.
Recently i read this new article where humans has somehow manage to developed theirselves into a nation which is still now growing fast enough just to destroy the earth. Eg. we have 6 billions populations now if compare to last 50 years where we just had 1 plus billions.
And soon we will have no enough foods, shelter, land and our heat is encouraging in global warming.
With this facts, i suddenly realise that, humans has been helped so much and that's why now we are growing fast but look at the animals and earth. We do not focus so much at them and reluctantly it is being destroy fast enough.
Anyway this will be my last post, i'm sorry to disturb you. just wanna share my idea. I know i'm rude to intrude here and give different opinions. So sorry.
Just to let you know, i guess i have helped enough for humans, i will channel my donation more to WWF or any organisations that focus more on earth and animals.

I have already make arrangements to channel all the donations collected to the 6 siblings.To those who have come forth to volunteer or have donated to the siblings,I sincerely thank you for your kind help and generosity.
