There is a public swimming pool near Amcorp Mall in Sec 52.

Use Google Earth to locate Kelab Syabas. You will see the swimming pool and can get directions to the place.

Looking for a swimming instructor... which can do a 1 to 1 coz i'm very afraid of water so prefer not to drag the class down.

i might be able to get another friend of mine to join as well. So there is 2 of us. location is at Bayu Puteri.

I was recently transferred to work in Subang Jaya n was looking for a proper swimming pool for me n my family. I have earlier frequent public swimming pools like the indoor pool in 3K Complex n also those in Shah Alam n Kelana Jaya. Last week I came across an advertisement about swimming lessons at a university swimming pool at SUN – U Residence in Bdr. Sunway and decided to pay them a visit. I was much delighted with what I saw. It is exactly the type of swimming pool I am looking for. The swimming pool water was so blue n crystal clear. The surroundings at the Olympic pool was quiet, exclusive n soothing. I have gathered that the pool was opened only for the residence n guest who are swimming students. The coach ‘Sunway Swimming’ provides coaching for beginners, competitive training n life – saving classes. For those who r looking for a pool to learn to swim, u can visit www.swimlesson.com.my or call 012 – 636 8951.

My name is James Yap, the head coach of Sunway Swimming. I would like to notify all my potential clients that me and my team of coaches have already shifted to the Olympic pool at SUN-U RESIDENCE, No. 1 JLN PJS 11/26, Bdr Sunway (next to Sunway University College) since mid year 2006. Since we have shifted till now, lots of our potential clients/swimming students has been looking for us and ended up in the wrong place at our previous center at Sunway Lagoon Club. As we are no longer coaching at the club, I would also like to inform that our fees, course and schedule structures, has also been reviewed and now consistent to our new center at SUN-U RESIDENCE. We would like to stress here that those forums contents posted earlier by din2x and others from year 2005 is no longer valid. For latest updates, please kindly visit our website www.swimlesson.com.my or call 012-636 8951/019-653 1318.

Hi there,
I swim quite regularly for leisure at my condo.
People say I'm good but I'm still improving my stroke especially the butterfly. This is a cool stroke but I'm not at that level yet. Not the least like Phelps. haha.

Anyway, I can offer to teach you breaststroke and freestyle if you're interested. It can be one to one or two to one(me) at my condo. Please be mindful that I am not a teaching instructor or whatsoever. Just like what you plan to do now, I took lessons for breaststroke and freestyle when I was younger. Therefore, I would expect a small fee anyway for the time and effort as a leisure income. Thanks.

I'm a girl at her mid twenties staying in pj, btw.

May PM me if you're interested.

My baby is 7 months old now. I would like to organize a swimming lesson for my baby. There are many benefits of start swimming early especially on the emotional and intellectual aspect according to my Paediatrician . I found a fantastic website about baby swimming at www.babyswimming.com

I have contacted Rob and Kathy McKay, author for the book “ Learns to swim”. They have personally recommended me an instructor in who has been trained under them.

I have contacted the instructor and she is unable to get permission from parents ( I thinks most of them are foreigner) in the baby class to allow me to join them.

The instructor is trained to conduct lesson for baby swimming .She could not conduct the lesson alone for my baby. I am asking if there is anyone who is interested to join me so that we can form a class and all babies fun together.

You could contact me at: eddiecsh@hotmail.com
( Parents from Puchong/ Subang/ Sunway / PJ/ Damansara area would be more convenient to attend)
