We plan to follow a backpacker tour agent to Tibet from 17-Sept to 2-Oct 2009. We need at least 7 persons to form the group. The cost is RM6.2K per person for 2 weeks, inclusive of air ticket, accomodation, transport, entrance fee, Visa, tour guide.

Let me recommend you a local individual group that do backpacking in Tibet and other places. I joined them before and so far no complaint. Check out their website www.yongo.biz
Meantime I also do backpacking to Philippine on Aug 09. We will backpack to Baguio and trek Mt Pinatubo and do cave exploring. If you interested can join me or your friends. |

Hi tonglong, I heard abt yongo too but my leaves have been planned in sept and they are going in aug. That's why i didn't join them. But I think they usually travel in a big group, around 20 - 25 ppl right? Was it fun to have such a big group?
I don't think I can join you to Philippine in Aug. Can't take long leaves. |

Sorry for late reply. I was in Saigon. Just came back.
The trip to backpack to Philippines will be on 6th August 2009 till 15th August 2009 ( 10days ) and we will go from Manila to Segada ( 2nights ) then to Baguio ( 2nights ) and stop in Banaue ( 01night ) and Bontoc ( 01night ) and back to Manila ( 2nights ). Plan to trek Taal Volcano if time permits. Lastly we spend one full day city tour and shopping for souvenirs. I anticipated total expenditure without air ticket approx RM1500 or less. That's include public transport, accommodations and simple food and any entrance fees. Air ticket you can purchase from Cebu Pacific.....cheaper that Air Asia.
Let me know if interested. If you have other friends who wish to join they are welcome. |

how much for the air ticket?? visa needed??
so far, how many guys and gals go to this trip??
soli for i asking this kind of questions.. i never go philippine b4...
but now as i know philippine is quite dangerous with the H1N1... the m'sia govt also advice us not to go philippine recently...
is safety we go those place u mentioned?? |
