luckily, my house people all are ok.
not so much complaint, only sometimes lazy and don't bother bout the house.
water leaking in the kitchen, also not sensitive, dont even bother to takung the water for other usage.
Floor not mopped even already have the schedule. but, i just don bother, i just do the cleaning lah rather than put hope on the other person.
Dont have expectation, cos there's a chance for dissappointment.  |

It a rite of passage for anyone to get stuck with housemates who are a pain in the ass, lazy, hard to get the rent from . damage your things , dont give a stuff . and on it goes.
I had the same in australia. and new zealand .
I got home form a 2 week holiday to find every dish and pot in the house in the sink and mould growing on them .
another guy who set up his drum kit in the lounge and gave the neighbours hell while i was away . (the neighbour just happened to be a high court judge so the cops came about that one)
. spending all day on my computer and all my books and papers covered in beer bottle rings and an ashtray overflowing . half a burger on the fone coz he couldnt be bothered walking 10 feet to get a plate.
it all comes down to experience ,
HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT WHO YOU GETTING IN . WHAT ARE THEIR HABITS AND HOW THEY LIVE AND DRESS , IF THEY DRESS LIKE A SLOB THEY WILL BE SLOBBISH WITH EVERYTHING.
When someone new comes along , Dont for 1 minute think they will tow the line ,
Go through the "WAY WE LIVE HERE" story with them .
Explain that all this stuff belongs to that guy or this girl and they expect it to be looked after and '"WE ALL RESPECT EACH OTHERS GEAR "
This generally makes things easier , (untill you have a schitzophrenic move in like I did) , skitzo`s have many personalities so you dont know who your talking to.
Make sure they are working , not a student .
And make sure its not the first time they have been in a share house,
If they are moving out from the folks house they will still expect MUMMY to clean up after them .
If a person starts Using you or others in the house by leaving stuff everywhere you have to address the issue immediately or it will become your obsession. and you will find yourself doing insane things like
coming home and going straight to the sink to see if there are any pots dirty , or the fridge to see if your food is missing.
Then you`ll start looking for faults , and its just bullshit and you wont realise it till later .
On another note , We had 1 chick from germany who would be laying on the lounge watching tv and drinking wine in the nude .
None of the guys complained ,  |

yayayaa.. agreed with u.. now i also got a housemate who always use other ppls' things without ask our permit 1st.. she jus treat everythings in house are in sharing basis(actually some of them is private use, no sharing one).. i also duno how to address to this issue to her.. i think it's personnel attitude problem.. she is not a student, she's abt 33yrs old++ working adult...
but she got a strong point... she very particular abt the cleanness issue... she clean the house almost everynite after she back from work.. so now our house very clean..  so we all close 1eye on her others problem lo.. wat to do...  |
