| Wouldn't it be abit distracting and confusing to have B & C as a animated feature to your post? Both of them are quite large and animating to a point that people find it not relevant. |

so do u mean if discussing something very serious.. the joker put  this is okay for u?
Its just an add on feature, its not a must for everyone to use for "every post". same apply to ur signature and avatar. u can choose to leave it blank or use it. and if u realize.. sometimes u will see got others icons in the post.. which we copy it from somewhere else. Ex:     which mean.. everyone can just copy any icons from any website and paste here no matter we have the emoticons here onot. the incident that u mentions is actually the personality problem of the "Joker" its depands he/she want to do it onot no matter with or without emoticons here, and we are just bring the shortcut here.. and emoticons another way to show ur expression.

Apparently, you dont understand what I was trying to say.... At least the imoticons above doesnt glare at my eyes. And this is my personal opinion and I do not have to justify myself. Like you said, it is just an opinion and I have given mine.

These are all excellent emoticons but then again these are not the emoticons you are proposing to have implemented. If you are proposing to implement the Yahoo Messenger smileys/emoticons then of course I have no hesitation in lending support as they are excellent but there is still the question of legality and its ramifications. It could be an infringement of copyright laws or be considered intellectual property theft. When a user links to smileys/emoticons from other websites in his postings, he does it on his own volition and the disclaimer protects pjnet from any liabilities arising. What you are proposing is to make these smiley/emoticon files resident on pjnet's server which brings up all kinds of legal issues and places pjnet in jeopardy.
Here I will use the emoticons you are proposing to illustrate that they are vague, ambiguous and therefore inferior to the ones already implemented in the forum software.

I think you will agree these smileys/emoticons are not very clear in the emotion/s they are trying to represent.
If you look at the stats on pjnet's traffic we are averaging approx. 40 users within a five minutes window of time. The record high is something like 100+ users online within this 5 minute period. For simple calculation lets just say we get around 200 users logging in and out in a single day. Your poll has so far garnered about 2-3 votes, having subtracted the votes of the mods and admin as this poll is meant more for the users and not the mods to choose. This is only 1% of our daily number of users. Clearly the users are quite happy with the present smileys/emoticons else they would have voted against it.. |

in the whole forum.. its very limited member are really active and do posting.
and i just open the poll when member request for that.
of cos u can choose not to vote. and this is just an additional feature.. its up to u wan to use it or not.. but of cos if u have the better one u can provide here instead of just comment
about those icons. actually its free for everyone to download in the website. so do u mean all those avatar also have to check the copy rights belongs to who also?     
and btw the above emoticons has more than that. thats why i said its just few example of the design. group A actually have 70++ different expression. but no matter how.. until the end.. its depands the vote which is the preferable n admin is the person who choose and upload it..
