This forum is quite confusing. Few months back when I droppped in here it seems the forum is more 'adult' in nature ie topics & discussions are of a more serious and mature level.

This present emphasis on eye candy like smileys, emoticons etc are often seen only on teen forums and those targetting the age group of 15 - 18 yr olds.

Users dont come to forums for eye candy. They can go to disney.com for that.

Content is king so if the postings & articles are not so frivolous and of better quality then there should be more traffic. This emphasis on eye candy is at best superficial and can be quite distasteful if it is over the top. Confused

But somehow, one way or another it's still depend on that particular individual wether they wanted to use emoticons or not...So I think it's still not a bad idea if there are choices. Sometimes when i read post with alota emoticons I felt its abit distracting and annoying too, so far so good, but choices are better.

thanks for your feedback.. and welcome back.. actually this is just a topic for everyone to voice out their opinion what they think and which are the things need to update or changes.. in this forum there are so many members out there.. and not everyone have the same opinion and same interest.. what u like doesnt meant its equal to what others preferred. the choice is there its up to u want to use it onot.. just an additional choice there.. just like avatar.. u can choose to leave it blank or choose to display it.. if the whole forum are blank and looks dull and boring.. for others member.. they will prefer go others website also. and content its important of cos. but its also need members do posting and comment as well.. so whats is your idea? and what kind of content u preferred?

I think this a good forum and it has a lot of potential to be better. However, I think the following has to be improved:

1. Some moderators need more "education" in moderating:
a. How to warn erring members
b. How to keep threads on topic

2. Thread organization. There are many overlapping topics/threads. Also, the news article postings, although interesting, are cluttering the forum. I think these articles can be grouped together under a few threads.

3. More diverse thread groups about PJ - like PJ Nightlife, PJ Restaurants, PJ Hook up places, PJ Do's and Don't's, Moving to PJ, etc.
