Another one... not a Rape Tactic.
Ladies especially....please please do do read!
It's 112 not 999 - Pay Attention-Must read!!!!
A young lady was robbed and slashed on the face two days ago in Taman Desa.
She just got off from her car and was in front of her friend's house pressing door bell.. She saw a motorbike with two men coming toward her direction but she thought they were security guards. Then before she knew anything, one of the men has already slashed her face with a knife and grabbed her bag. She didn't know it was a cut until she touched her face and found out it was bleeding. She was screaming out of shock. One of the man came back (they were already on the motorbike and ready to leave) and tried to slash her again. Luckily she was able to hold on his hand to stop the attack. At that time, her friend came out to check what happen and the men quickly ran away.
The cut was 9 cm long and 1 cm deep. Now those robbers' tactic! is to hurt you first before they rob you so that you are handicapped and can't resist them. Even later there are someone to help, they have to rescue you first instead of chasing them. Please be alert all the time and take every precaution measure you could. Emergency Number:
Please be aware the Emergency Number worldwide for GSM Mobile (012, 013, 016, 017, 019) is 112 and not 999.
You can dial 112 even without a Sim Card. If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you. Do share this important info with your family members and friends.
I wonder this can ka? cos last time my hp sim contact leg was broken. while u ON ur hp.. its keep request "please insert simcard" so my concern is... would it be still able make call while its keep request please insert simcard?
anyway.. thx for sharing.. i think most ppl are tot to call 999 no matter using home phone or mobile _________________

I was talking with a lawyer friend of mine. We were discussing the law and
women`s rights. She told me about this incident - a young girl was raped by
a man posing as a plain clothes officer; he asked her to come to the police
station when she and her male friend didn't have a driver's license to
show. He sent the boy off to get his license and asked the girl to
accompany him to the police station. Took her instead to an isolated area
where the horrendous crime was committed.
Infact, the law clearly states that between 6 PM and 6am, a woman has the
right to REFUSE to go to the Police Station, even if an arrest warrant has
been issued against her. It is a procedural issue that a woman can be
arrested between 6pm and 6 am, ONLY if she is arrested by a woman officer
and taken to an ALL WOMEN police station. And if she is arrested by a male
officer, it has to be proven that a woman officer was on duty at the time
of arrest.
It is good for us to know our rights. To what extent it comes of use
remains to be seen in any situation. But as they say, knowledge is power.
Just thought I`d share this with you. I did not know this and am sure lot
of us will not know this- please be informed..... And pass on this info to
whom all u know....... _________________
This is a good reminder for all of us.You can never Read this too many times!
以下建議非常實用,多看幾次,受用無窮!
1.Tip from police:The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!
1.警方的提醒:手肘是身體最有力的部位。距離夠近,就善用手肘!
2.If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you.... chances are that he is more interested in your Wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet or purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3.If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm! out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4.Women have a tendency to get into their car after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their check book, or making a list, etc.) DON'T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go.
AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.
進入車內,立即鎖門,駛離現場。
5.A Few Notes About Getting Into Your Car In a Parking Lot, or Parking Garage:
5.在平面停車場及立體停車場的幾個注意事項:
A.Be aware: look around you; look into your car, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat! . (And check out under the car as you approach.)
A.要警覺:環顧四周;察看車內的乘客座和後座。(接近車子時,留意車底。)
B.If you're parked next to a big van you should enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
C.Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle and the passenger side. If a male is! sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get aguard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6.ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alon! e and the perfect crime spot).
6.永遠搭電梯,不要走樓梯。(樓梯間是一個可怕的地方,容易讓人形單影隻,變成最好的犯罪場所。)
7.If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ, RUN!
8.As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women? He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked "for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle,! which is when he abducted his next victim.
Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird. The police told her "Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door." The lady the! n said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The policeman said, "We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT open the door! ." He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby cry recorder and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby. He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls by women saying that they heard baby cries outside their doors ! when they're home alone at night. Please pass th! is on! and DO NOT open the door for a crying baby.
This e-mail should probably be taken seriously because the Crying Baby theory was mentioned on: America 's Most Wanted this past Saturday when they profiled the serial killer in Louisiana .
請嚴肅看待這封電子郵件,因為上禮拜六「美國頭號通緝犯」(America’s Most Wanted)節目中,報導路易斯安那州的連續殺人犯時,提到了「哭泣嬰兒」的假設。
Please forward this to all the women you know.It may save a life. _________________

Be Careful: Orange Proton Cab HWC 244
Please be cautious and inform your girl friends or your wife or your mom or your sisters... Be careful!!
*To all the KL and PJ drivers out there:
Please be warned that there is an orange Proton cab with the number plate HWC 244 (name of cab company - Innovasi Timur Sdn Bhd) who is out to get single women drivers, for unknown reasons but we believe potentially to rape and kill. The cab is driven by a fat and bald Malay man (occasionally with two other men in the car who look like Indonesians) who have been going around doing the following (possibly amongst others) to get women to come out of their cars by attempting to create an accident:
1. Cutting into your lane quickly so that you have to swerve to avoid an accident.
2. Braking suddenly on a road where there is just you and them.
3. Driving extremely slowly in front of you and then when you overtake, he will try to knock into you by swerving into your lane.
It is very likely that more than one woman have experienced the attempts of the driver of this cab but it is unknown if he has been successful in raping/murdering any woman yet. Please don't let it happen to you!
Please be very observant and careful to look out for this cab, especially when you are traveling on a quiet road by yourself. There have been so many rape cases lately (e.g. the one in Centrepoint ) so please warn your loved ones - wives, daughters, mothers, sisters, etc to be extra extra careful and to watch out for cabs and cars like HWC 244 and other similar perpetrators. _________________

CAREFUL AT PETROL STATIONS !!!!
My dear friends, pls be careful. Nowadays, there are so many crazy, sick-minded, psycho criminals around us. They may not look like one, but they are.
Yesterday, a friend of my sister was almost robbed, possibly even abducted in Ampang. This happened at a petrol station.
This lady went to the petrol station to fill in the gas. Then, she went to the ATM machine (most petrols have it now) inside the petrol station to withdraw some money, and bought some stuff, and qued up to pay for the items. While waiting fo her turn, she saw innocent looking man wearing a white shirt, but she did not really think about it afterwards.
Then, she went to her car. She did not have the remote control, so she had the key ready in her hand. She got inside, and straight away locked the doors.
Suddenly, in less than a second, she heard someone was trying to open the back door. She turned to take a look, but nobody was there. She turned, and found that the man inside the petrol station (mentioned before) was trying to open the front passenger's door! He had a very innocent looking face, with decent clothing! Nobody could have ever thought that this man is actually a robber!
She was so scared, she pressed her horns, really frightened, shocked and scared. The worst part was the man did not even show any signs of being afraid or noticed. He walked calmly towards his accomplice like nothing had happened, and even managed to take make a few rounds on his bike around the station's compound before riding away.
After lodging a report, the victim and the police went through the CCTV. The recording had shown that the man was actually holding a knife in his other hand!! The police said that if the lady was a second slower, it might have been worse. Thanks God she was okay.
So friends, be really careful. Pls tell this to others.
Some lessons to be wary of :
1 - Always be alert and extra careful, especially when withdrawing money
2 - Car owners - pls have the key in ready in your hand, ALWAYS. Never start search for keys only after getting to your car.
3 - Always lock your door as soon as you getinside the car.
4 - Avoid from using big handbags - u don't want to getunnecessary attention
5 - Be cautious
7 - Be wary of strangers no matter how well dress they may be _________________

Dear friends,
Especially for those living in these areas, please be extra alert. There has been a lot of robbery/kidnap cases in the Bandar Utama/Subang/USJ/Sunway areas. Suspected gang operating: Camry Gang - up to 8 members in different cars at different times.
Modus Operandi - at anytime but mostly during the day. They would stalk you and as you drive to your gate, "kidnap" you, take you to the ATM - sometimes several and withdraw money. So, if you do have several ATMs, just keep 1 on you and not all.
These cars have been used:
Silver Toyota Camry - WMW 6638
Golden Toyota Camry - WNU 9232
Beige Merz - PFY1221
Silver Perdana - WJP 3738
Orange Gen 2 - XXX 6610
Proton Wira - reported without details
Description: 2 Malay guys ( 20 -30 yrs old) One thin and the other stout. Could be up to 4 guys at times.

Organized Crime At KLIA
A few days ago a new type of crime has surfaced in town. It goes something like this:- Somebody slips a hand-phone into your pocket, sometimes it could be just a wallet with an identity card and a few ringgits.
A few minutes later, the 'owner' comes up and confronts you, the 'thief'. He makes a big commotion that you stole his stuff.
You, caught unaware, are then pulled aside by the 'owner' for a settlement you are intimidated and threatened that if you do not pay up the police will be brought in. If you pay up, this 'owner' lets you go. If not, the police are brought in.
Another strange thing is that there always seems to be a 'witness' to the your 'theft'.
I am told this often happens to foreigners at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or even at LRT trains. Given that you're 'guilty until proven innocent' as far as the Malaysian police are concerned, I understand some poor people are in jail for these 'offences'.
At the KLIA, the 'owner' throws his hand-phone and wallet with the few ringgit notes into the luggage trolley of a just arrived passenger. The drama unfolds a few minutes later. The real culprit has easily convinced our Malaysian police to arrest the real victim (if he has not paid up the 'settlement' demand). This is a very serious matter.
This is another form of extortionists operating in broad daylight. They are disgusting criminals who will do anything to rob and steal. The sickening part of the whole scenario is that unless you pay the "quoted settlement" money, they will put you in real trouble by calling the police.
The real culprit gets back his hand-phone and wallet but the real victim (i.e. could be any one of us) is thrown into the police lock up and charged in court.
So do be very careful, otherwise you may end up as a "thief" as you have no way to prove your innocence.
Pass it on..... let more people be aware of such things around them.
