I must admit I will not date a guy who is less capable than myself. Call me materialistic if you wish to and I am not shy to admit. Nowadays everything revolve around money! How can you not mention about it? Just drive out your car to fetch your gal, ur car already burning your money turning them into smoke, wanna go shopping?? Tolls and parkings.. Dinner? there goes your ching$ ching$. Valentines, birthdays and anniversaries more ching$ ching$.
I used to be naive when I was dating during secondary and college times, but the days are over for me.. Of course, it is not that i wanna date some freaking loaded guys who are double my age and can even become my father! But at least, someone decent enough who can afford to surprise me with bonquet of flowers every now and then, once a blue moon expensive candle light dinner and a short romantic getaway.
I do have guys coming after me and offering all sort of 'PACKAGES'! One tries to buy me off with platinum cards! haha.. said he would get me a platinum card if i agree to be his gal and even periodical oversea trip! Fully sponsored! BUT I still stick on with my bf hahaha.. though no whatsoever CREDIT CARD or OVERSEA TRIP! hahaha...

But, seriously, a girl looks for deeper things in a guy than just how fat his bank account is. A fat bank account is usually just an added bonus, if the guy is kind, generous, caring, talented, well-read, gentle, etc.. Of course, it's also an added bonus if the guy has good looks..
Btw, most of us girls aren't that shallow to just chase after a guy's money only.

It has been known long long long time ago that girls will go for rich guy. So I believe this thread is to see whether it still apply today.
However, we need to go more details. Why do girls go for rich guy? I don't think girls go for rich guy. Girls go for guys that can buy things for them.
I mean, girls like to wear pretty pretty, makeup pretty pretty. All this needs money to maintain. My gf cannot stop from buying clothes, shoes, accesories whenever she has the chance. I always stop her to buy cos need to save money. Yet she will buy it in front of me when my guard is down. I mean, she loves it, and not spending on other unhealthy things.. so I relax.
Whenever I buy things for her, she will be so happy.
So, if I got lots of money, she will buy more and more and more.
Eventually, I believe they look to guys that can provide what they wan (after the basic security needs). House, car, I don't think girls will be particular in any car as long as it is a comfortable car where it gets to places (guy fetch of course) and got AIR CON is a must!!! House, anyhouse will do, even its ur mom's house. As long as you got a place to nest with her. Or where she can be comfort in the room/house.
some of my friends (20 to 25) they have over 80 bags in their wardrobe.!! uncountable shoes, clothes!!! Many many many!!! some of it never wear b4 or wear only 1 or 2 times only!!.

actually what ever it is i feel it's not how much you earn.. it's can live within your means or not...
and actually right... i feel girls only look at the guys money as security.. you know like a baseline thing... ("just incase he is bad husband.. or cheater.. or something at least sui sui also at least got money..")
my gf dun spend my money even though she could.. (seldom lah..) she feels happier spending her own money to buy her stuff.. i'm only ocasional some items like handphone and trip onli... she even bought me PS2 also.. so i dun think it's girls look at money in a guy to spend it.. (not apply for all woman though. i could be damn lucky..)
i mean realistically even if girl target for rich guy.. got how many rich guy vs how many pretty girls? sure rich guy less kua.. and more pretty girls right?
