pelangi damansara consist of three cramped condos on one side of the street and a row of shophouses and flats on the other side. one of the condos doesn't transmit mobile phone network.

because of a lot of construction work are going on in kota damansara, the flats in pelangi are mostly resided by construction workers.

don't stay in pelangi if you don't have transport because you will have to fight for a place in the one bus that comes through there which comes by an average of once an hour.

I agreed with nice_J.

Location cantik dekat dengan ikea dan bandar Utama..

tapi if you stay there and have more then one car.. sure problem juga,, kereta kena park di luar.

I sometime get angry juga,, to resident yg simply park their car along the main road. Rolling Eyes Jadikan laluan makin sempit.

The ones without reserved parking lot, rents for RM550-650 and sells RM120k up. And the ones with reserved parking lots go for RM700-900 and sells for RM160k-200k.

Take the LDP towards Sri Damansara. Just after 1 Utama turn left, Ikano/Ikea is now at your right. Go into the tunnel ahead and as you exit Pelangi is abt 50meters on your left. For property under RM200k its a good location.

Security? Don't expect much unless it's a higher end apt/condo. I hv frens living at Riana Green and even cars are stolen there. I heard from a fren at Pelangi that 5 cars stolen in one nite last week. 3 Avanzas 1 Hilux. Cant recall the 5th one but they seem to target Toyotas. Best to secure your own car, etc. I live at Kelana D'Putera and a neighbor's Altis was nearly stolen. They broke the quarter window but somehow failed to steal car. But on same nite 1 Camry and 1 Unser gone. This was in 2004. It has been ok so far. Touch wood!

Amber of Parking !!!!

Unlikely, it will happen at Pelangi Damansara. Thats why the rental so cheap eventhough near to shopping malls. I wonder how you want to stay on if you are driving. Security - a concern. My car was broken coz a joker thrown a stone from level ?... Polis ever involved but could not help much. Parking outside not a good deal. Be consider my fren before you move in.....

A matter of opinion really. Flora is way up the hill whereas Pelangi is smack at the busy Surian road. I'd prefer Pelangi.
