Since yesterday, water in Kelana Jaya smells bad. Today it is worst . Imagine we are going to comsume it. There are news of it in Chinese newspapers but not our 'English' dailies. Can anyone share thier information ...? Mad

Ok, so i was not hallucinating after all.... since today im not well i thought it's my senses that goes haywire as my hands do smell like s*** after i clean it. Heard bout this news on chinese radio station this morning but never thought it will be at my area which is at Pandan Indah, Cheras. Till now still no updates on it in the news.

It was reported in thestar as what I read. Even the 8tv news also reported it. But somehow isn't it back to normal by now?

the latest news is the water company says that the armonia level in the water to high so got smell, wat a bulls**t

Based on facts posted, I believe it's because the rising level of ammonia in the water. With high level of ammonia in water, more chlorine are added to neutralize water.

I'm not sure about this myself. Maybe someone is kind enough to post the real facts. I heard it was caused by the rising level of water in shah alam, which led to flood. Waste from poultry farm were washed away with these flood water, draining more ammonia into the water.

To saveguard the health level of water, more chlorine are added to neutralize the water, so it is safe for drinking, based on lab test conducted by the authority.
